Sunday Morning "One More" Cover Designs

I was approached by my friend Wes Benjunas, a member of the

Connecticut-based band Sunday Morning, to do the album cover for their new single "One More." Of course I wanted to help them out and get my hands on this project, especially considering I never designed an album cover before.

Wes said the band wanted to use the octopus drawing his brother Paul Benjunas, owner of Benjunas Wildlife Photography, created a few weeks earlier. With that in mind, my contribution to this album cover would be resizing the octopus image and adding the text. Below are seven of the over twenty variations of the cover I did showcasing different fonts, colors, and effects.
