After Chris had a chance to watch the preliminary animation, he gave me great feedback. He wanted the logo to be changed from grey to black, which I completely agreed with because that made the logo stand out. In addition, we decided each piece of the logo should be animated individually and the background should move as well.
The new background was much more colorful and bright to help the black logo pop off the screen. All the changes are shown in the images below.
